ORDERING
In order to better serve you, we suggest that you make no wholesale volume order without first ordering sample pieces. Any volume wholesale order without first ordering a sample is your acceptance of merchandise as if you had previously viewed and believe that ordered merchandise will meet your requirements or needs.

SHIPPING
Our shipping strategy: We don't normally use tracking numbers. Aside from the extra cost, it just isn't feasible, considering the amount of time involved in shipping by USPS First Class Priority Mail.
It cost more to ship small packages via UPS but, tracking doesn't cost extra. It is cheaper to ship small packages via USPS, but using tracking numbers cost extra. We decided to go with USPS and use the difference in cost, to go with USPS Priority Mail. Which is faster than UPS. Also our business location is in walking distance to our local post office.
So far we have had good results, without charging customers extra for order tracking.
We do have some limitations in shipping speed. In some cases we could actually ship orders the same day that we get them. But sometimes customers make mistakes on addresses or other information. We have found that it is better to wait 6 to 8 hours before packaging orders. So, if there is some type of mistake, we or the customer has a chance to make corrections.

knifesearch.com uses United States Postal Service to ship merchandise. All merchandise is inspected before shipping.
Packages are shipped USPS Priority Mail. Priority mail offers 2-3 day service to most domestic destinations. Items will only be delivered to address on purchase order.
Items will be shipped the first regular business day following your order. In the case of Sundays or holidays products will be shipped the first business day following Sundays and holidays.

We will not ship to addresses that cannot be validated with USPS validation software.
We will not ship to a business locations, unless there is an agents name as part of the address.

MERCHANDISE NOT RECIEVED
Knifesearch.com and USPS are not liable for packages after they have been delivered to the address given on purchase invoice.
It is knifesearch.Com's responsibly to package and ship merchandise in a prompt manner. It is USPS responsibly to delivery the merchandise to the address on the invoice and confirm the delivery.
knifesearch.com can not be held responsible for packages which have incorrect addresses given on purchase invoices.
If the USPS signature cofirmation number verifys that a package was delivered to the address on the invoice, knifesearch.Com is no longer liable for the merchandise.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Due to continued losses and customs issues we are no longer shipping to anywhere other than US addresses.

OUT OF STOCK
We make every effort to keep our inventory updated. But, occasionally we will get an order for items that are out of stock. On those occasions we will make refunds.
On multi item orders we, ship the items we have in stock and refund purchase price for merchandise not in stock and adjust shipping cost.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We have a 30 day return or refund policy. If you receive a product and it does not meet your expectations, You can return it for a refund or exchange. Items returned have to be undamaged. Items have to be in original box. Items have to be unused. Items returned have to have Transaction Id Number (on invoice). Customer will pay the shipping back to us. Knifesearch.Com does not refund shipping and handling charges. We can not make refunds with out Transaction Id Number (on invoice).
For items being returned for repair, replacement or reimbursement, KnifeSearch.Com will ONLY make a refund for shipping in an amount based on USPS Priority Mail rates.
KnifeSearch.Com will not refund shipping costs incurred from use of UPS, Fedex.. or any other mailing or shipping service, other than United States Postal Service.
If the knife was damaged in shipping, (And in most cases we can tell). You can expect a full refund or exchange. Customer will pay the shipping back to us.
If you damage or break a product you can contact the manufacturer for their warranty.
It will be our decision whether to credit your credit card # , issue you a money order or replace merchandise for any refunds. All credit card refund transactions are processed via PayPal. It is the responsibility of the customer to claim funds via Paypal website. After 10 days, if funds credited for refund are not claimed, the refund will be canceled.

We can not make refunds without Transaction Id Number (on invoice). We use a third party (Paypal) to process purchase payments and returns. Transaction Id Number is needed to locate and verify transactions.

Clearance Items
There is no guarantee on clearance items. We can not replace clearance items, because these items are no longer in stock. Returns and refunds policy does not apply for clearance items.
Shipping and handling cost will not be refunded, unless there is a mistake made by Knifesearch.Com or Knifesearch.Com employees.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Most orders are shipped within a three working day time frame. If an item is out of stock it may take up to seven days to ship it. If an item is out of stock and back ordered from our suppliers it can take much longer. We will make an effort to e-mail you if there are any problems. You may cancel an order at any time before it is shipped. Once it has been shipped it's yours. You may of course return it at your expense for a refund or exchange. Be aware, we ship merchandise in one or two working days from date order is recieved.
